The OEM exhaust system is extremely over engineered. ECU controlled vacuum vavles opening baffles, 2 x cat converters, 2 x resonators plus 2 x mufflers really was too much. Certainly quietened any possible engine noise down and severely restricted flow, perhaps exactly what the engineers desired to meet the 206 KW limit. But just as certainly, not we want on the road.


The exhaust now has 3" pipe right from the turbo dump pipe, a single cat (bypassed) splitting to 2 x 2.5" pipes venting through 2 x Lukey mufflers.
